Melisande Pittl-Meier, RECE
Toddler/Preschool Teacher
Melisande Pittl-Meier has always been interested in working with others. She completed her Community Worker diploma with Honours at George Brown College in Toronto in 2013. After graduating she started working with Art City in St. Jamestown, a non-profit organization that ran free after school art programs for children. There she realized how much she enjoyed sparking creativity and learning in children and she decided to go back to school and pursue an ECE diploma. Melisande graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in ECE with honours in 2016. Melisande worked in a toddler program for one year and before moving to Ottawa in March 2021, she spent four years working in an infant program. Melisande is a proud plant and cat parent, loves crafting, cooking and learning new things!
Melisande started working with TOPS in September 2021 and is excited to be a part of a nursery school and to work with toddler and preschool aged children.
Melisande teaches the Toddlers, 3 Half-Day Preschool programs and supports the other teachers in the afternoons with the Full-Day Preschool programs.
